Thoughts on Barebacking in the Sex Industry

I think every time I do an Interview there is a recurring question that usually always comes up:

1.) Where do I stand on the barebacking Industry?

2.)How do I feel about stars that cross over from the major studios to barebacking infamy?

It's funny, because as often as I am asked this question, my answers are rarely published. I guess the subject, in itself, is still quite
controversial.

So, here it is..Nick Capra talks BB:
I would NEVER consent to doing a bareback film.
WHY NOT?
The first time I ever experienced gay sex was by watching it on a video. I knew that for two dudes to fuck that there was anal penetration involved. But, I had never actually seen it or experienced it. When I saw the dude take out a condom and throw it on his partner's cock, it automatically instilled in me the idea that the condom was also a part of the act of gay sex.
Like myself, I realize that there are thousands of gay youth across the world who are getting ready to begin exploring their sexuality with a partner. If one of them comes across one of my videos or my website and they see me having ass sex with another dude-using a condom-they might make the same decision for themselves.
I DO get tons of emails from young men who have seen my videos and ask me questions all the time about condoms and sex.
I assume responsibility for setting an example to the Gay Community as a whole that safe sex is still wild sex. Safe sex if still awesome sex.

How do I feel about the stars that cross over from mainstream studios to bareback studios?
I will answer this question honestly. I think that the stars that have done this (Jeff Palmer, Josh Weston, Carlos Morales, and most recently, Jack Ryan) are so caught up in the delusion that Porn is all that there is, that they willingly compromise their standards to continue their careers. Lets face it: These guys didn't begin their careers as Bareback models-they resorted to it.
Look - when your time has come and you've saturated the market, (they say most Porn Stars have a shelf life of about 2 years) you can always do something else.
If I define myself by the standards of this Industry or how long I last in this Industry, I am setting myself up for some bad choices in the future. Trust me. As a recovering addict, I know first-hand ALL ABOUT BAD CHOICES. The only guarantee every Porn Star gets is that they will eventually be replaced.
My personal advice to every would-be or current Porn Star out there: Enjoy the ride, have fun, but never stop being who you are for anybody or anything!

Kudos for sticking to your standards.

A job is not who you are, it is only what you do. Who you are despite the job is what defines you.
