I have had the opportunity to meet just about everybody in the Industry. I will say that most of the people I meet are, well, lackluster.
They might have good looks, but a total attitude. It's always been a bit difficult for me to understand why Gay Porn Stars think that they are are talented, intelligent, or more of a man because they fuck on film. Lets face it - we all do it. Because you do it on camera, it doesn't make you Jesus.
I have a friend in the Industry whom I have known for several years and I simply adore. He has done a lot of Internet stuff and is pretty much been type-cast in the Twinkie market. We lived together in 2005 at Chi Chi's Live and Raw Hotel and I grew to simply love him to pieces. His name is Phillip Ashton. 
I had the opportunity to hang out with Phillip in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and his personality has not been altered, jaded, or fragmented by this Industry in the slightest. He is hysterical! Full of energy and always ready for the next Event. 
Philip is a constant reminder to me that there are people that have a heart and are not afraid to be who they are no matter what.
I think it is important that you have some people that you stay connected with, and I will always look at Phillip as my little baby.
